Cameron Jack – Director Cameron was born and bred in sunny Glasgow and trained as an actor at Mountview Theatre School.
His acting credits include: Taggart, The Bill, All Along the Watchtower, Lucy Sullivan is getting married, The Stephen Lawrence Murder Trial, Lost in France, Puny Humans, The Vanishing Man, Noels House Party, Blue Peter Childline Drama & Harry’s Mad on television. He has also made numerous television appearances with the We Will Rock You cast and appeared in a number of commercials. His Theatre credits include: We Will Rock You, Les Miserables & The Drowsy Chaperone in the West End, The National tour of Trainspotting, Misdummer Nights Dream & The Music Man at Regents Park along with several pantomimes.
As a director his productions include: Trainspotting, A Clockwork Orange, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Romeo & Juliet and West End Gold.
Cameron is co-director of Brick and Pin Films Ltd, and has written the feature film “Verse 13” with Paul Chronnel and the short film “Warmth” which will be shooting later this year. He is also a director of new corporate entertainment ‘Company Soprano Security’ and is due to start rehearsing 'I Love You Because…’ which is transferring from off Broadway later this summer.
Adam Boland - Assistant Director
Bo trained in performing arts in Cambridge for many years and after graduating spent another many years on stage around the world.
Bo has also appeared on T.V numerous times.
In his 6 years as a Director, Bo has been involved in productions of Godspell, Bat Boy, Stags and hens, Our house and many more. He has also been involved in music videos for Fightstar,Mr Fogg and Buizness.
Bo is currently working on his own film and works as a freelance writer.
Alex Brookes – Re-Design /Stage Manager
Alex is currently studying 'Technical and Production Management' at Central School of Speech and Drama, London.
Having previously worked on Road back in March 2007 as a Stage Manager and Ligthing/Sound Operator with the director and some of the cast. Alex was bought in this time round to re-design the original set to fit in the space of the Tabard Theatre and maintain the role effectively as the 'designer', although you may occasionally see him in the control box on show nights!

Kate Faulkner – Louise. Lane, Valerie, Linda, Electric Clutch Girl
Kate trained at The Arts Educational Schools in Chiswick and has since enjoyed successful stints for 6 months in Coronation Street as Mandy Pearce and 8 months in Emmerdale playing WPC Julie Finch. Other television credits include Now You See Her – a feature film for Sky TV, Clocking Off and various commercials.
Kate has also worked on numerous independent films; her latest is a feature film “Beast” (fat fingers productions) in which she plays the lead Alice, due out later this year.
Kate was in the original cast of this production of Road earlier this year at The Broadway and has since enjoyed a National Tour with Blue Mountain Theatre. Director of Brown Dog Productions Ltd she is thrilled to be “Road-ing” it once more.
Keith Hill – Eddie’s Dad, Professor, Jerry, Brian
Keith Hill has acted and directed all over the UK and in France, but believes that international relations may now have recovered.
His record includes almost everything from Shakespeare (Kent in King Lear, The Dauphin in Henry V) to definitely not Shakespeare (Chris, in On the Piste).
Theatre credits include: The Men in Two (also by Jim Cartwright), Guildenstern in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Horace in The Day I Stood Still, Freud in Hysteria (at Pentameters Theatre, Hampstead) and, more recently, Heisenberg in Copenhagen (Bridewell Theatre), Doctor Robert Smith in Blue/Orange and Major Petkoff in Arms and the Man (both at Putney Arts) and Teddy in Faith Healer (Bridewell Theatre).
He is delighted to be back in Road, which he is doing because he loves it, but is mildly concerned that the playing of miserable or suspect old men is becoming a habit. He is shortly to appear in a Salvation Army film as a homeless bankrupt.
This autumn he expects to be touring to Belgium in a new play.
Karen Jackson – Brenda, Molly, Helen, Marion, Electric Clutch Girl
Karen trained at LAMDA.
After appearing in 'Clockwork Orange' at the Broadway Theatre, Cameron Jack called Karen to say he needed another old lady with a cat for his production of 'Road'. How could she refuse!
Born and bred in Lincolnshire, Karen is delighted to be involved in a play based in the North. 'It makes a change from having to pretend to be a Southerner'.
Karen can currently be seen as a crazed marketing executive in Cardinal Place.
Victoria Kelly – Carol, Dor, Clare, Chantal, Electric Clutch Girl
Victoria grew up in Wigan in Lancashire but began her acting career in Melbourne, Australia appearing in ‘Neighbours’ and the award winning short film ‘Only the Brave’. She then returned to the UK to attend Drama Studio London, where she was awarded honours.
UK credits include A&E and Burn It for television, and theatre productions of Kiss Kiss, Fishes For Wishes, A State Affair, Way of the World and The Seagull.
This summer Victoria has been touring the London royal parks with a production of Slugs, Chips and Peas.
Daniel Lane – Louise’s Brother, Brink, Mr & Mrs Bald, Joey, Manfred
Daniel, from London, trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.
His most recent credits include a six month theatre tour of India 2006-07 playing Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Jean in Miss Julie and a devised physical theatre piece of Little Red Riding Hood. Other credits include: The title role in Pippin; Daniel in The Wooden Pear; Mirabel in The Way of the World UK tour.
Film credits include Aaron in Hush; the lead in Blue/Grey, a film produced for the Bloomberg Space and a paramedic in Turning Shadows, 2006 Soho Rushes winner.
Phil Stewart – Scullery
Phil hales from Southport but has lived in South London for 10 years.
He trained at the Arts Educational Schools in Chiswick and recent credits include Blood Brothers in the West End and National Tour, Jesus Christ Superstar National Tour and a guest spot on The Bill.
He has also appeared in recent commercials and is looking forward to playing Scullery in this production of Road.
Simeon Willis – Barry, Eddie, Skin-Lad, Blowpipe, Bisto, Soldier
Simeon Willis trained at Bretton Hall.
Recent theatre credits include The Future (Pentameters Theatre, Hampstead), bOOk Of Little Things (Ovalhouse Theatre), Road (Broadway Studio Theatre, Catford), A Man For All Seasons (Pond Square Chapel, Highgate), Wuthering Heights, Romeo and Juliet (Wycombe Swan), The Usual Suspects (National Tour), La Ronde (White Bear & Brockley Jack), The Curse of Mighty Man (The Space, Docklands).
Film Credits include Independent features, Inbetween (La Toyson D'or Films Inc), Things to See When You're Not Looking (Indivision Films), both in post production, and a leading role in Stagknight, a British comedy horror due for release later this year.
Simeon is happy to be on the 'Road' again.
